Blood drive planned for today Wheelock Primary School has teamed up with the Community Blood Bank to hold a life-saving blood drive. The drive will be today from 1 to 4 p.m. in the gym. Torch relay planned for Monday morning GOWANDA — The Empire State Winter Game Torch Relay returns to Gowanda Central School District on Monday and the community is encouraged to cheer on the Panthers during the outdoor portion. Students in fourth grade through 12th grade will participate in the indoor leg of the relay from approximately 8:15 to 9 a.m. They will jog through the halls taking turns carrying the torch while being cheered on by their peers and staff.
