≤ SHERIDAN — A Silver Creek man has been charged with driving while intoxicated after allegedly speeding. Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report stopping a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Route 5 around 9 p.m. Monday. Deputies identified the operator as Paul J. Illenz, 44. Following an investigation, Illenz was found to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. Deputies charged Illenz with DWI, DWI per se, reckless driving, speed in excess of 55 mph and failure to change address. Illenz will answer his charges in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.

≤ HANOVER — An Angola woman is facing charges after several lane violations witnessed by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies on after midnight June 22 on Routes 5 and 20. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator to be Jenny K. Rammacher, 34. Following an investigation into the incident, Rammacher was charged with DWI, DWI per se and a move from lane unsafely. Rammacher will answer the charges in Hanover Town Court.

≤ WESTFIELD — A vehicle failing to signal a turn on Routes 5 and 394 in the town led to charges for a Jamestown man. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Thomas A. Kimbrough, 23. Following an investigation into the June 27 incident, Kimbrough was charged with DWI, DWI per se and failure to signal a turn. Kimbrough will answer charges in Westfield Town Court.

≤ ELLERY — Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle to be speeding June 29 on Route 430 in the town. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator to be David W. Treadway, 55, of Dewittville. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies charged Treadway with DWI, speeding and refusal of a breath test. Treadway will answer his charges in Ellery Town Court.

≤ MAYVILLE — A Tonawanda man is facing charges after deputies located a vehicle stopped on the Lake Road. In the course of the investigation into the incident, the vehicle took off and hit a parked car on the side of the road. Deputies identified the operator to be Brian R. Nichols, 30. Following the investigation, deputies charged Nichols with DWI, DWI per se, parking on pavement and move from lane unsafely. Nichols will answer his charges in Chautauqua Town Court.
