CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– MAYVILLE – Robert Kaczor Jr., 29, of Fredonia was charged Tuesday with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. While in the Chautauqua County Jail, he allegedly contacted two individuals who possessed full stay away orders of protection against him. He will answer to the charges in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
– PORTLAND – Joshua Dash, 44, of Portland was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Dash harassed another individual in the presence of a child at a Portland residence at around 1:15 a.m. Dash was transported to the county jail to await arraignment via the centralized arraignment program. He will answer to these charges in Portland Town Court at a later date.
— HANOVER — At around 10 p.m. Wednesday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Routes 5 and 20. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Marc Bukaty, 55, of Osprey, Fla. Further investigation found Bukaty to be driving while intoxicated. Bukaty was charged with DWI and No/Insufficient Tail Lamps. Bukaty was later released with tickets to appear in town court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Maurice C. Hough, 42, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of tampering with physical evidence early Thursday.
Officers were on patrol checking around Persell School when they observed a male on a motorized scooter riding on the running track. The male was identified as Hough who had a warrant from Jamestown City Court. During the arrest, on two occasions, Hough attempted to conceal and destroy evidence. Hough was found to be in possession of over one half of an ounce of methamphetamine. Hough was held pending arraignment.
— Michael C Hetrick, 39, was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation, unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest after an early Wednesday incident on the west side.
At about 4:10 a.m., officers responded to an unwanted person at an address. Upon arrival, officers were made aware the subject was Hetrick, who had a valid order of protection to stay away from that address and the victim who resides there.
The female victim told officers Hetrick had entered her home without permission and would not leave.
During the incident, it was discovered that Hetrick held the victim down, placing his hand over her nose and mouth causing her to not be able to breathe.
Hetrick had left the scene prior to officers arrival and was located in a wooded area near the residence. While taking Hetrick into custody, he actively resisted arrest. After a brief struggle, Hetrick was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
