Jamestown woman dies after Thruway crash

An accident on the New York State Thruway in the town of Evans has claimed the life of a Jamestown woman. New York State Police report at approximately 7:32 a.m. Wednesday, they responded to a one vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes four miles from the Evans-Angola exit. An investigation determined that a 2003 Dodge Caravan traveling eastbound left the driving lane to the passing lane, then traveled onto the north shoulder causing the Dodge to overturn. Rodriguez, 36, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with felony driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and unlicensed operator. According to police, at about 11:12 p.m., officers responded to a downtown business for a property damage accident that had just occurred. Jamestown man and Buffalo woman charged in narcotics conspiracy

A Jamestown man has been indicted in a narcotics conspiracy. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Friday a federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Brandon Murray, 41, and Latika Saintkitts, 35, of Buffalo. The charge carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life. In addition, Saintkitts is charged with distribution of crack cocaine and fentanyl. Man faces weapons charges in Fredonia incident

A 44-year-old who resides in Maryland and South Carolina has been identified and charged in connection with a shelter in place order that occurred Wednesday in the village of Fredonia. In a news release issued Friday night, Fredonia Police Department reported that Kyle L.
