Lake Erie Bird Club to meet Monday

The Lake Erie Bird Club will meet Monday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at BOCES, Fredonia-Stockton Road, Fredonia. Danielle Pecoraro from Wildbirds Unlimited, Blasdell, will present the program on backyard birds that can be seen during the winter months. She will also provide feeding suggestions for the birds. Northern Chautauqua Pickleball to hold introductory class

Northern Chautauqua Pickleball announces an introductory class on how to play pickleball. It will take place Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony’s gym, 32 Moore Ave., Fredonia. ‘Crafty Diem’ Monday at Ahira Hall Library

The Ahira Hall Memorial Library, 37 W. Main St., Brocton, will host “Crafty Diem” on Monday, Feb. 25 from from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This month’s theme is “Stay Connected to Friends and Family with Handmade Greeting Cards.” Adults and students ages seventh grade and up. CCIDA meeting Tuesday

The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) Board of Directors meeting will be held at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk, on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Sheridan Historical Society meets Monday

The Sheridan Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25. The society is located on the corner of Route 20 and Center Road in Sheridan. All are welcome. Call 672-2201 for more information.

Jamestown Coin Club meeting and auction planned for Tuesday

The Jamestown Coin Club will hold a meeting and auction on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at BOCES, Route 394, Ashville. Doors open at 6 p.m. The meeting is at 7 p.m., followed by the auction. Admission is free. For more information, call 720-1591.

Fredonia schools’ All Band Concert set for Tuesday

The Fredonia Central School District All Band Concert will take place Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the district auditorium, 425 E. Main St., Fredonia. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Lakeshore Humane Society fundraiser planned for Wednesday

The Lakeshore Humane Society will hold a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Hedwigs Social Center, 324 Townsend St., Dunkirk for a $10 donation. Take-outs will be available. Other activities include basket drawings and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are available at the LHS Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk. Help the many animal friends who are waiting to be adopted.

Chautauqua County Planning Board to meet

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 North Erie Street, Mayville. Meetings of the County Planning Board are held on the first Tuesday of every month and are always open to the public.
