New Hours of Operation for Gowanda Urgent Care and Medical Center

Gowanda — Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. has announced effective March 3, service hour changes at the Gowanda Urgent Care & Medical Center located at 34 Commercial St., Gowanda.

The Gowanda Urgent Care & Medical Center provides primary care, urgent care, laboratory services, outpatient physical therapy and imaging. Hours for each of these services are:

Urgent Care: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (seven days a week)

Primary Care: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Weekdays)

Laboratory Services: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Weekdays)

Physical Therapy: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Imaging: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (seven days a week)

For questions regarding this change or to schedule new appointments, patients are asked to call 532-8100.

Brocton to host health

and wellness fair

On Thursday Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. in the Brocton School cafeteria, the third annual health and wellness fair will be held, with this year’s event being named “Food, Family, and Fitness Night.” There will be a wide variety of local businesses and services that deal with mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and/or psychological health. This event is free to the public. People of all ages are welcome.

Villenova Grange plans pancake brunch Sunday

The Villenova Grange will hold a pancake brunch on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Balcom Corners, 438 Route 83 (and 322), South Dayton. The event is all you can eat. The cost is $8 large, $7 small.

This week at Fredonia Farmers’ Winter Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Winter Market will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. The market features a wide variety of locally grown fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, honey, maple syrup products, plants, baked goods and more This week, in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, Green Eggs and Ham are planned for the kids and maybe stories. Dress up as your favorite Seuss character.

Villenova Grange to

host pancake brunch

The Villenova Grange will host a pancake brunch on Sunday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the grange hall, located at Route 83 and 322 (Balcoms Corners) in South Dayton. Tickets are available at the door and are $8 for large, $7 for small. The brunch will benefit the South Dayton food pantry; those who bring food pantry donations will receive half price brunch tickets. Call 965-4292 for more information.

Dunkirk Public Library presents: Meet the Cat in the Hat March 2

Dunkirk Public Library presents: Meet the Cat in the Hat! on Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to noon. The library is located at 536 Central Ave. Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Meet the Cat in the Hat, listen to stories, enjoy give-a-ways and more. With questions, call 366-2511.

Old-fashioned Barn

Dance set for Friday

An Old-fashioned Barn Dance will take place Friday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Fredonia Grange No. 1, 58 W. Main St., Fredonia. Costs are: adults: $7, students: $5, ages 12 and under free. Dances include squares, contras, mixers and more. The event is beginner friendly, family friendly. No experience is needed. For details, call Joe at 679-8426.
