Gazebo Concert Series begins tonight

The Village of Fredonia is proud to present the 2018 Gazebo Concert Series. All concerts are free of charge and will take place on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Spectators are reminded to bring a lawn chair for added comfort.

Brocton School Board set to meet today

The Brocton Central School Board will hold its last meeting of the school year today at 7 p.m. in the Board Conference Room.

Ripley United Methodist Church breakfast to benefit Quincey Cemetery

The Ripley United Methodist Church is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, July 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church, 84 W. Main St. in Ripley. Enjoy pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee for $7. This month’s breakfast will benefit the Quincey Cemetery Association.

Play retro space games at the Barker Library

On Thursday, July 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy retro space games at the Darwin R. Barker Library, 7 Day St. in Fredonia. Discover the evolution of space in video games from NES, SNES to PS4 on the big screen TV. Bring friends and gaming skills; snacks are provided. All kids and teens in fifth grade and up are welcome. No registration is required.

Celebrate Sheridan July 24 at free concert

An evening to celebrate Sheridan will include a free outdoor concert on Wednesday, July 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the lawn of the town office buildings, 2773 Route 20 in Sheridan. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place inside the town auditorium. Music will be provided by the Cassadaga Area Concert Band and concessions provided by and to benefit the Sheridan Historical Society and Sheridan Memorial VFW Auxiliary.

Westfield town board reschedules, offices to close for holiday

The Town of Westfield Town Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 3 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. due to the Independence Day holiday.

Town of Westfield Town Offices will be closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. The offices will reopen on Monday, July 8 at 9 a.m.
