FFUMC to hold chicken barbecue fundraiser Saturday
First United Methodist Church of Fredonia would like to say thank you to community members for supporting all of our fundraising events. As a result, leaders from FFUMC, Cherry Creek Methodist Church, and Christ Community Church were able to take 18 youth to the Kingdom Bound Christian Music Festival at Six Flags. They enjoyed camping, fellowship, amusement rides, water park slides, concerts, and many wonderful motivational speakers.
Tickets are still available for the final event which is Saturday, Aug. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Chiavetta’s Famous Charbroiled Chicken lovers can eat under our big tent, or take it to go. Tickets are $10 and include cole slaw, potato salad, a roll and butter. We will also be selling chilled spring water and mouth watering David’s cookies.
