CCSAA event canceled

Silver Creek Village Board to meet

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Village Board will hold a public hearing at 6:45 p.m. Monday regarding the submission of a CDBG application for possible funding for the Adventure Sports Development project at 42 Lake Ave. with the regular board meeting to immediately follow. In-person attendance will be limited and by reservation. Attendance is also available by video or phone; contact the clerk’s office at 934-3240 for reservations and meeting codes.

CVCS Board of Education to hold special meeting

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the middle-high school multi-purpose room. It is anticipated that the board will go directly into executive session to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation. No other business is predicted to transpire.

County Real Property Tax Office to be closed

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Real Property Tax Office will be closed to the public on Thursday and will reopen for normal business hours on Friday. Those who want to do phone transactions can call the office at 753-4221.

Gowanda VFW Post 5007 chicken barbecue or chicken and ribs barbecue

The Gowanda VFW Post 5007, 20 Sandhill Road will hold a drive-through chicken barbecue or chicken and ribs barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m. The cost for the chicken and rib barbecue is $13; or for the chicken barbecue, $11. The meal includes 1/2 chicken OR 1/4 chicken and ribs, salt potatoes, cole slaw, and roll. Payment is with cash only.
