United Seniors meet Monday

The United Seniors, who meet at the Kosciuszko Club in Dunkirk, will hold its next meeting is on Monday. If anyone still needs to pay for their lunch, send all monies, made out to The United Seniors, for $12 to Linda Riley, 264 King St. Dunkirk N.Y. 14048; or call her at 716-785-0039. The menu is as follows: breaded pork chops, beef on weck, au gratin potatoes, tossed salad, mixed vegetables and a roll. Members hope to see everyone there and to welcome new member Debbie Tell.

Fredonia plans road work on Castile Heights

The village of Fredonia will be doing road construction on Castile Heights beginning Wednesday and will continue until work is completed.

County work planned on Route 380

Construction Crews will be rehabilitating County Route 380 Kimball Stand – Stockton Road. The project will begin Thursday and end July 1. The road will not be closed.

Expect lane closures with flaggers and signage during the weekday hours of 7 a.m to 5:30 p.m. A detour will not be posted. Please plan on taking an alternate route.
