Imagine Forestville plans community meeting
FORESTVILLE — Imagine Forestville, along with the town of Hanover, is holding a public comment session regarding the upcoming NYForward grant application for the hamlet of Forestville.
Join the group on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Hall, 11 Center St., to share your thoughts, comments and ideas.
NYForward is a new state funding program specifically geared toward hamlets, villages and small towns to revitalize not only the business district but also the community as a whole.
Beekeepers plan Thursday meeting
JAMESTOWN — The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will hold meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown. Seasonal activities such as harvesting the fall flow, mite control and general fall apiary management will be discussed. The meeting is open to the public free of charge. Fredonia pantry open Sept. 17
On Saturday, Sept. 17, The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Avenue. The pantry serves the needs of residents of Fredonia, area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan, and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.
