Club Associates meet in Sheridan SHERIDAN — The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates recently met for their regular monthly meeting at the Sheridan VFW Post 6390. Brian Schneider welcomed the large group to his Post. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for deceased club members. Water flushing to begin Monday in city During the hours of midnight to approximately 6 a.m. starting on Monday, the city of Dunkirk will begin conducting our annual flushing of water mains and fire hydrants throughout the city. This process will take approximately three weeks and during this time residents may, for brief periods, experience slightly cloudy water and reduced water pressure.
