Forestville sets Memorial Day events FORESTVILLE — A Memorial Day parade and veteran's service will be Monday starting at 10 a.m. in downtown Forestville. The parade will include the Forestville American Legion, Forestville Fire Department, Forestville School Marching Band, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and miscellaneous vehicles. The parade will conclude at the American Legion grounds, 6 Cedar St., and the service will then be held. The service honors all veterans and members of the military. Marine Corp Lt. Reminder issued on bridge meeting The New York State Department of Transportation will host a public information meeting on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. pertaining to a proposed bridge replacement project scheduled to begin next spring on State Route 5 over Canadaway Creek in the town of Dunkirk.
