Fredonia Fire Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene of a two-car collision that led to a rollover of one vehicle at VanBuren and Farrel roads outside the village. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. When units arrived on scene one of the operators, 93-year-old Elizabeth A. Abram of Berry Road, Fredonia, had sustained minor injuries. The other operator, Birgitta H. Marrano of Fredonia did not sustain any injuries from the accident. Abram was later flown from the scene by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo for non-life threatening injuries. At this time the investigation is ongoing and charges may be filed at a later date.
