At roughly 6:06 p.m. Thursday, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police responded to Shumla Road in the town of Pomfret for a reported motor vehicle accident.

As a result of the accident, one operator was transported by Cassadaga Fire/EMS to Brooks Memorial Hospital and the other was flown by STAT Medevac to UPMC Hamot for non-life-threatening injuries.
