The Tuesday Night Utility League at the Vineyards Golf Course held a “Fun Night” on July 5 to mark the midway point of its season.

The team of George Allessi and Chris Kowalewski recorded a 33 for a first-place finish which included Vineyards Golf Course shirts and a gift bag from Basil’s in Fredonia.

Skins were won by the teams of Joe Polichetti and Bob Krzyzanowicz, Allessi and Kowalewski, and the team of John Taddio and Jason Jagoda.

Closest to the pin honors were captured by Jaime Galarza (No. 5) and Chris Penfold (No. 9).

Regular season play on June 28 saw birdies by Dan Alessi (No. 1), Tom McTigue (No. 5) and Jim Ellman (No. 9) win skins with McTigue and Ellman also winning closest-to-the-pin honors in ringing up their birdies.

Regular league play is set to resume Tuesday.

WESTFIELD — Gary Arnold’s 36 led the scratch scores and Brian Kinney’s 29 led the net scores during the Post 434 Wednesday Night Men’s League at Pinehurst Golf Club.

Arnold and Crow Beers were closest to the pin, Ryan Swanson was the prize hole winner and Brandon Johnston earned a skin.
