‘Be the Hero’ scholarship winners announced The winners of the “988 Be the Hero” scholarship include residents of Chautauqua County who are pursuing a degree in the medical or mental health field. On June 2, the board met to review the essays, and the following winners were chosen. Katherine “Kayde” Fitzgerald has been awarded the $1,000 scholarship to continue her coursework for clinical mental health counseling. First Amendment concert set for Sunday On Sunday, Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment, an uplifting evening of song, solidarity, and action, will be streamed across the country, featuring an all-star lineup of performers.
