‘Almost, Maine’ rescheduled due to illness “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani has been rescheduled due to illness. It will be performed Friday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. with two free evening performances open to the general public on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18 at 7 p.m.

Thanksgiving Food Drive next weekend The annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry will be Saturday, Nov. 11 from noon to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Pomfret Town Hall parking lot, 9 Day St., Fredonia. Youth from local church and service organizations traditionally help staff the food drive. The food drive seeks frozen turkeys, hams, chickens, canned goods, boxed dry goods, and other non-perishable food items for the Rural Ministry Thanksgiving food baskets.
