SAL Squad 59 sets Zoom meeting

SAL Squad 59 Commander Rodney Dziduch will be holding a meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, May 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. and invites all SAL Squad 59 members to participate.

Zoom link and meeting ID will be sent to SAL Squad 59 by Adjutant and Finance Chair Larry Fiorella via email.

Review membership reports; updates from Sons of American Legion NY Detachment; discuss and plan outreach to Legionnaires during this unprecedented crisis.

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Post 62 plans takeout-only Annual Memorial Day chicken barbecue

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Post 62 Annual Memorial Day chicken barbecue by Weidner’s BBQ will be held on May 25 beginning from noon to 5 p.m. Due to the current pandemic situation and to keep everyone safe, there will be takeouts only with pickup at the Legion’s rear entrance (Eagle Street). Tickets are $12 and currently available at Big Rick’s One Stop Food Mart & Deli, 327 Lake Shore Dr. E. in Dunkirk, or at Post 62 Takeout Wing Nite every Thursday (rear entrance) from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., or at the door.
