CHAUTAUQUA — Olean (6-6, 5-4) picked up two CCAA Division 1 golf wins on the Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club Tuesday, besting Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Sherman (5-11, 3-7) 32-23 and Jamestown (3-12, 2-10).

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Sherman was a 30-25 winner over the Red Raiders thanks to a medalist round of 3-under 33 from Darien Swanson, while Carson Swanson added a 47.

“That is the best round I’ve had for any player at Chautauqua Golf Club. He had four birdies in the round, which is pretty good,” Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Sherman coach Mel Swanson said.

Kamden McClain shot 36 and Drew Brokaw 42 to lead Westfield while Evan Maloney fired a 39 and Tyler Salvaggio 41 for Jamestown.

DUNKIRK — Southwestern (17-2, 12-1) claimed three wins at Shorewood Country Club, besting Fredonia 34.5-20.5, Dunkirk 40-12, and Falconer 34-21.

Falconer (8-8, 6-3) claimed a pair of wins, downing Fredonia (9-2, 8-2) 29-26 and Dunkirk (0-6, 0-6) 37-15.

Fredonia topped Dunkirk, 38-14.

Max Vaughn was the medalist for the Trojans with a 39 and Evan Christensen shot 40.

Robert Kowlowksi shot 47 for Dunkirk, Ryan Kelly 41 for Fredonia and Curtis Hannon 41 for Falconer.
