SHERIDAN — The Sheridan VFW Auxiliary at Sheridan Bay Park. Many items were addressed during this meeting. The group voted to purchase 2 Ship N Shore tickets, an event at the Naval Park in Buffalo. The tickets are valued at $150 and we will sell chances to win them at $10 each. This is a wonderful event.

Take some time to look it up and read all about it (https://buffalonavalpark.org/ship-n-shore/). The auxiliary voted to donate to the Warrior Relief Fund, which will be holding an event at the Post on Nov. 9. The post is holding an appreciation dinner for the veterans on Sept. 21 and we will want to assist in whatever they need. We make monthly donations to various worthwhile organizations in support of our veterans. This month the donation goes to the program Paws of Honor (pawsofhonor.org). After the meeting we shared a picnic super. The next meeting will be in Arkwright at a member’s campsite on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.
