Fredonia Easter program

set for April 13

The Fredonia/Town of Pomfret Easter Program will be held this Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m. in the Wheelock School Cafeteria on Chestnut Street. There will be activities for children. At 1:30 p.m., InJest will perform as they have in other years. With questions, call Tom Battaglia at the Recreation Department in Village Hall.

Forest Lodge breakfast date change

Forest Lodge No. 166, F. & A.M. will be holding this month’s pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 14, Palm Sunday, rather than the usual third Sunday, which falls on Easter this year. This all-you-can-eat breakfast will consist of eggs made to order, pancakes or French toast, sausages, fruit cocktail, toast, juice, milk, coffee, and tea. Adults and teenagers 13 and up – $8; children 6 to 12 – $4, and kids 5 and under are free. The public is welcome and cordially invited to attend, as is anyone interested in, or who has questions about Free Masonry.

Collins Public Library Music in the Library Concert Series

welcomes Creek Bend

The Collins Public Library, located at 2341 Main St., Collins, will present this year’s first performance in the Music in the Library Concert Series on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. This free concert will be presented by classic bluegrass band Creek Bend. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Breakfast to benefit Owen Miller Scholarship Fund

The Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St. in Ripley, is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, April 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to benefit the Owen Miller Scholarship Fund. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs, omelets, home fries, biscuits, sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are $7. Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet today

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet today at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library, 18 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The community calendar and upcoming events will be discussed. All area residents are encouraged to attend.

Kappa Sigma Fraternity Spring Egg Hunt location change

The venue for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Spring Egg Hunt scheduled for Sunday, April 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. has been changed. It will now be held at SUNY Fredonia Steele Hall due to weather predictions. The event will include an egg hunt, face painting, pictures with Easter Bunny and prize give-away to children.
