Pomfret water, sewer bills due by Monday
Town of Pomfret water and sewer bills are due Monday. Any payment not received by then will be relevied on the 2022 town and county tax bill.
Trick or treat
Trick-or-treating hours will be observed in Cherry Creek from 5-7 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31.
Special meeting
SINCLAIRVILLE — Members of the Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the middle-high school multipurpose room.
Workshop meeting
The Village of Silver Creek will hold a workshop on Thursday to discuss matters of the Silver Creek EMS service. The workshop will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Church planning Halloween event
The West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 East Route 20 between Westfield and Brocton, will host a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of the church on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Parents and kids are welcome to come and enjoy candy, games, prizes, and fun.

Turkey party planned in Brocton
BROCTON — The Brocton Fire Co. will hold its annual Turkey Party on Saturday, Nov. 6 starting at 7 p.m. in the Brocton American Legion 110 West Main St. Turkeys, hams, steaks and shrimp will be raffled off as well as many door prizes. Free admission and refreshments. There will be a gun raffle drawing for those who purchased tickets. Tickets are available from any member.
Ukulele event set for Friday
Fredonia Ukulele Community Jam will be Friday at 6 p.m. at SUNY Fredonia Williams Center, room S-204-DE. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level.

Bills Booster Club sets Nov. 7 gathering
The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars game on Sunday Nov. 7 at the First Ward Falcon Club in Dunkirk. Game time is 1 p.m. Roast beef sandwiches will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass.

Rec Department plans Halloween event Friday
The city of Dunkirk Recreation Department is pleased to announce its first Trunk or Treat Halloween on Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Washington Avenue Parking across from the Clarion Hotel.
